Make Window Xp into Windows 7

Hi, guys. Lot of people love to customize xp. So today i going to show you how to make windows xp into win 7.
first you have to download window 7 remix theme from here. And extract it. Install the setup called seven remix xp 2.1.exe.(it will ask for reboot, but don't reboot it now) don't install the patch file untill you see error user32.dll
After installing the setup(seven remix xp 2.1.exe) it will look like this


In the same rar file u will find two more setup files called seven remix xp - grey mod source v1.0 installer.exe and seven remix xp - Win7 RC mod source v1.0 installer.exe
in the folder called seven remix xp mods. these are the two login themes. preview was available in the rar folder.

Now download Vista side bar from here.actually its Vista side bar. win 7 side bar and vista side bar, both look same.
it will look like this




for transparency download glass2k fromhere.Just right click on the object, on which you want to see transparent effect.

Download true transparency from here. to make tittle bar transparent, like in win 7.




download ICF from here. to color folders like in win 7.

Extract the downloaded icf.rar and first install iCF.exe from it and when the setup finishes, before you install the iCF_skinpack.exe, open the iCF utility that you just installed and apply the vista icons(Don't forget to check the Usegeneric folder icon define in the skin before clicking Apply). Doing so will apply the latest style drive icons as well! Now you can install iCF_skinpack.exe for adding a variety of cool folder icons to the iCF Skin Selector and color changing option to the folder context menu!
Preview

download Visual Enhancements package (compressed) from here. Extract it, and a folder named Visual Enhancements will be extracted from it.
Simply move this folder (which contains three additional folders and a reg file) to windows\program files. Then run the SetVisuals.reg that
is inside this folder. If your windows XP is installed in C: drive then you can run it as it is, however in other case, just open it in notepad
and change all the drive letters in it from C:\\ to wherever windows xp is installed and
then run it(remember using double '\' instead of single i.e., \\ instead of \). Voila! You just applied all three of these updates!
this enhancement package do the following changes in windows xp.

you are all done. Now restart your pc and see the changes

Note:- if some software is not running in the start up. Then go to there setting and select start with start up or the similar options
Or
just go to start->run hit enter
type msconfig in command line hit enter, the new window will open called "system configuration utility" select "startup" Tab
and check the programs or software which you want to start up on windows startup..

Hidden File Problem

Most of my friends have this problem,they are saying that, whenever he selected the radio button “Show hidden files and folders”, and then press Ok .. the changes wouldn't take place. they even tried some of best known
anti-virus. but it will only remove virus but leave this problem behind.
So, today i am posting some of the method i know, to solve these problem.

1st method:-

the first method is very simple. just use this software. file size only 160KB and 544KB

another software is also very effective. just follow the instruction. file size 544KB
restore your Windows settings and your show hidden files and folders will be set to default.

2nd Method:-

Start–>Run–>Regedit–>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\

CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

–>Find a key called CheckedValue in the right side.
–> Double Click CheckedValue key and modify it to 1.



3rd method:-

1. Click “Start” -> “Run…” (or press Windows key + R)
2. Type “regedit” and click “Ok”.
3. Find the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL
4. Look at the “CheckedValue” key… This should be a DWORD key. If it isn’t, delete the key.
5. Create a new key called “CheckedValue” as a DWORD (hexadecimal) with a value of 1.
6. The “Show hidden files & folders” check box should now work normally.



4th method:-
first step Click Start –> Run –> regsvr32 /i browseui.dll –> enter

A confirmation message will appear, click ok


second step Click Start –> Run –> regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

Wait for the confirmation and click OK.

->open RUN from start menu(or simply press window key+R).
->then write "REGEDIT" and press ENTER .
->New window will open called registry editor.
->go to edit and select find .
->Now write "645ff"(without quotes) in "what find" and press enter.
->This will show you some files (strings) in the right side of the window.
->double click on file named "default".
->right down your desire name in value data. And press enter. eg:- u named the recycle bin as My Computer
->Then double click on string, named "localized String".
->Wright down the same name u written in the value data (in edit string windows "My Computer" without quotes) and click on ok
Then close all the opened window & refresh the desktop. you will see the change.

to do that
follow the instruction step by step carefully
->Go to start->Run (or simply press windows key+R)->type regedit->hit enter.
Now follow this path(Key name) given blow

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\1

On the right side of the registry editor window search for "ProcessorNameString" string
Double click on that and type your desire name in value data and click on ok.
Now press F5 to refresh, and close the window
if required change the value data of processor 0 too.
by just following key name below.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\1

hi, guys today i am going to show you how to make Firefox 60% faster.
please follow the instruction carefully. don't play with other configuration until you sure about that. If any damage happens to you browser i will not be responsible....
if you browser not working properly after this configuration uninstall and then reinstall it. (if u are just a regular user). if you follow the instruction carefully, it wont damage anything. my friends tried it and working great for them.. Now lets start
first open Firefox
-> At the address bar type about:config (or simply copy n paste it) and hit enter.
-> After hitting enter, you will get some warning. just ignore that by clicking I'll be careful, i
promise!.
-> On the next page, you will see a searching bar at the top of the page called filter.
-> on that bar type nglayout.initialpaint.delay and hit enter. it will search for it.
-> Now double click on the entry and set it to numeric number 0(zero).

now i am simply writing the entries with its numeric. you just have to do the following entries like i did above.

After the" = " is the number or entry u have to change...
